About Us

Hello Fellow Garden Lovers,

I am Sam, aka “Greeny”. We at GardenFingers.com thank you for visiting this gardening website.

Sure, there are numerous worthy gardening resources available today. Therefore we feel privileged to have you here.

Our wish is that you find your time spent here to be of value to your gardening activities.

We realize that many visitors may be accomplished gardeners in their own right. We certainly embrace you, and encourage your community participation. Please join the conversation.

Why does this site exist?

GardenFingers.com was created to research, assemble, edit and share a variety of instructional gardening topics.

Our interest in both gardening and website building is a natural fit which has resulted in this assembled resource of gardening knowledge.

Are we experts?

Of course no single gardener knows it all.

We also rely on gardening experts, professionals, and enthusiasts for our assembled information, with proper attribution as is appropriate.

Information presented here will be filtered, vetted and cross referenced aiming to be as accurate as possible.

What is provided here?

We take our gardening knowledge, combined with research and written contributions from other sources, and present it here for your consumption. Since we do this, it can save you research time if you just refer to this site. You are also encouraged to participate in the discussion.

We (Greeny and other site contributors) will publish gardening reports here, as website posts, audio, video, and PDFs that you may download; a service provided to our garden loving visitors.

Is there a “catch”?

No catch, no angle.

Our gardening reports assembled here for you will cost nothing, with few exceptions. There may be the odd report provided for a nominal charge, and we certainly encourage you to use our affiliated store services.

Patronage will help to offset site building, research resources, and maintenance expenses. We appreciate that.

Focus?

Our main wish is that you continue to plunge your “gardenfingers” into the life-giving soil, while spending many enjoyable hours gardening.

“All things come to the garden that knows how to wait.”
~ F. F. Rockwell

Thanks for the opportunity to interact with you fellow gardening enthusiasts.

Greeny,
